1. The Globe
The globe indicates that Bina Darma University is prepared to enter the global
era and compete in offering quality educational programs under the concept of
One Nation (Unity).
2. Water
Water is a source of life; it flows forever and it is beneficial to humans.
In connection with this, water is meant to symbolize the knowledge, skills and
technology that can be learned and acquired by students through Bina Darma University.
Three flows of water are a compass for this university in undertaking its missions:
Teaching, Research and Public Service. Water also indicates closeness of this
university to the Musi River, the heart of Palembang City.
3. The Initials of BD
Bina Darma are represented by the initial of BD in which B and D are united.
It symbolizes unity.
4. Gown
Gown represents an educational institution where knowledge, science, quality
and goals are its components. Upward direction of the gown represent the dream
of this university that its graduates become leaders in their respective field.
